Chronic Disease Management

Diagnosis and ongoing management of chronic diseases such as asthma, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, diabetes.

Health Assessments

Health assessments to identify risk factors for developing chronic diseases, such as the 45 โ€“ 49 year old health assessments, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health assessments and over 75 year old health assessments.

Medicals

Driving medicals (including rideshare medicals), pre-employment medicals and corporate medicals.

Wound Management

Management of acute and chronic wounds such as minor burns, lacerations and chronic ulcers.

Mental Health

Diagnosis and treatment of mental health disorders by GPs with mental health training, referral to mental health services such as psychology or psychiatry, or to the university counselling service (if appropriate).

Women's Health

Antenatal shared care, investigation and treatment of hormonal issues, and preventative health care such as cervical screening tests (pap smears), bone density scan and breast exams.

Sexual Health and Contraception

Comprehensive sexual health advice, including the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STI) such as chlamydia and gonorrhoea, testing for HIV and Hepatitis C, and advice on contraception such as oral contraceptive pill, insertion and removal of contraceptive implants (Implanon), and insertion and removal of intra-uterine contraceptive devices (Mirena and Kyleena).

Travel Medicine

We are a Yellow Fever Vaccination Accredited Clinic, and we stock a full range of travel vaccines, such as vaccines for Hepatitis A, Typhoid, Rabies, Cholera and Japanese Encephalitis. We are also a Q Fever vaccination clinic.

Routine/Childhood Immunisations

We stock a full range of routine immunisations, such as vaccines for Diphtheria, Tetanus and Whooping cough (dTpa), Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR), Chickenpox and Influenza. We also stock the full range of vaccines for the National Immunisation Program such as routine childhood immunisations, school based vaccines such as the HPV and meningococcal vaccine, and adult vaccines such as pneumococcal, and shingles vaccines.

Serology Testing and Immunisation Compliance

Blood test for vaccine-preventable diseases such as Hepatitis B, MMR, Chickenpox, and Tuberculosis, often required as part of pre-placement immunisation compliance checks and pre-employment checks.

Skin Checks

Full body skin checks performed by GPs with specialised training in skin cancer medicine, to identify and remove skin cancers before they become a problem. We may also use a software to closely monitor any moles of concern.

Minor procedures and iron infusions

Minor surgical procedures for the removal of skin cancers and other skin lesions, and cryotherapy for skin cancers and warts. Iron infusions (Ferinject) are routinely performed for the treatment of iron deficiency anaemia.
